Open calls for ShorTO Film Market 2025

ShorTO Film Market is the industry event dedicated to the short film ecosystem, organized by the Italian Short Film Center since 2016. The 10th Anniversary of ShorTO Film Market will take place in Torino on 24–25 November 2025, as part of TFI Torino Film Industry 8.

The 2025 Calls for Projects are open to short film professionals working in animation or immersive (XR) projects.

Call for animation projects | THINK OUTSIDE THE KEYFRAME

Think Outside the Keyframe is an international co-production pitching forum for upcoming animation short films. Selected participants will have five minutes to pitch their project to an audience of film professionals. Short film projects of any animation genre are eligible to participate. Following the pitch session, participants will attend a series of one-to-one meetings with industry professionals scheduled by the ShorTO team.

Regular deadline: Sunday, August 17th 2025 at 23:59 CEST. Fee/Regular: 20,00 €

Late deadline: Wednesday, September 10th 2025 at 23:59 CEST. Fee/Late: 35,00 €

Call for completed XR projects | XR CONTENT

The XR Content Call aims to collect 3DoF and 6DoF Extended Reality experiences and content to take part in the ShorTO XR Theatre Market Showcase.

Regular deadline: Sunday, August 31st 2025 at 23:59 CEST. Fee/Regular: 25,00 €

Late deadline: Tuesday, September 30th 2025 at 23:59 CEST. Fee/Late: 40,00 €
