Boost IT Lab: call for applications close on 5th of September

Calls for applications close on September 5th to participate in TFL Italia's Boost IT Lab – TFL's Italian initiative created to create connections between Italian and international productions.

The third edition confirms that participants will pitch their projects in the frame of the 18th TFL Meeting Event, TorinoFilmLab’s co-production market.

This intensive workshop’s aim is to provide a new generation of professionals with tools and guidance to work internationally and explore their projects’ potential, understanding how it can resonate with audiences worldwide.

Boost IT Lab targets Italian projects with high potential for international co-production, presented by an Italian production company and international projects seeking Italian production partners, especially those looking for suitable Italian minority partners. In order to apply, producers must submit a feature film project (fiction or creative documentary) in development stage.

The 8 selected projects’ teams will be involved in a plan of activities curated by Francesco Giai Via, TFL Italia’s Curator, between 17th and 20th November 2025 in Turin, following the well-established TFL methodology, which emphasizes hands-on project work and intensive exchanges with international experts, institutions and other participants.

Participants will have the opportunity to expand their network with a wider audience of decision makers by taking part in the TFL Meeting Event (20-22 November): the team will present the project and will have the chance to organize several meetings with various professionals coming from different fields of the film industry and from all over the world.

The workshop features training with experts and mentors, plus a masterclass focused on green production: the participants will expand their industry connections, deepen their knowledge, and unlock opportunities for co-productions, markets, and international financing.

DEADLINE: 5th September 2025

Participation fee 2,500 € (plus VAT, if due) per project (max 2 participants). Thanks to the support of TFL’s Partners, some scholarships (full or partial) are available upon selection.
