TFI Torino Film Industry Expanded: “Professioniste dell’audiovisivo: un’istantanea Contemporanea” with Contemporanea Film Festival

On Saturday 8 November, the first TFI Torino Film Industry Expanded event will take place as part of the Contemporanea Film Festival with the panel discussion “Professioniste dell’audiovisivo: un’istantanea Contemporanea” at 4pm at the Film Commission Torino Piemonte headquarters. Free admission upon registration.
As part of the Contemporanea Film Festival, a film and visual arts festival dedicated to women working behind and in front of the camera, directed by Giulia Magno and Fulvio Paganin, held in Turin from 4 to 8 November, the panel discussion “Professioniste dell’audiovisivo: un’istantanea Contemporanea” will take place – the first of the TFI Torino Film Industry Expanded events.
The panel discussion is dedicated to the status of women professionals throughout the film and audiovisual industry, comparing invisibility, achievements and salary issues. Based on data and testimonials, it will analyse the dynamics that hinder gender equality in order to highlight the growth of women workers in spaces still predominantly male. It will be an opportunity to discuss the changes that are taking place and those that are still needed. Participants in the meeting include Film Commission Torino Piemonte, Rete Cinema Piemonte APS, Women in Film, Television & Media Italia, Mujeres nel Cinema and DiversityLab.
Admission is free, but registration is required using the appropriate FORM.

The Contemporanea Film Festival takes place from Tuesday 4 to Saturday 8 November 2025 in Turin. All festival screenings and meetings are free of charge, unless otherwise indicated. Foreign language films are screened in their original version with Italian subtitles.
