The full programme of the third edition of TFI Torino Film Industry will be available as of November 10, 2020, on which day all accredited guests will be able to access the platform and start planning their networking activities.

    A pitching session for directors and/or screenwriters. Selected participants will have 5′ to introduce their Feature Film or TV Series projects based on a previously completed short film.

    Covid-19 crisis had given a great boost to the online consumption of audiovisual content globally, short film included, and the increased audience engagement online gave the start of a so-called "new norm" for audiovisual distribution. But what is the involvement of short content?

An open discussion with both faculty members and former alumni of the project will reveal useful information about MIDPOINT Shorts, its activities and the impact for prospective filmmakers undertaking the course.

    Masterclass: Pitch realization workshop - a talk with Christopher Mack (Netflix)

    The workshop will share some best practices on how to create and document the best version of a character- driven series. By asking the right questions and looking at a series using the character's goals and motiva- tions versus the plot, it is possible to create a professional-looking pitch document that will allow a buyer to easily decide whether or not a speci fic show is right for their streaming service or network.
